passing variables (global session)

Hello, I am pretty new to PHP and I have these couple of questions (I think they are all related by what I am trying to accomplish): 1. If I have a form with 3 frames and hidden field X on one frame can I access it in PHP script that generates second frame (like document.frames[1].X) ? 2. Is there global Session zone (like ASP, I think), where you can create global variables that can be shared between scripts? 3. Also , I am trying to call the same script many times and increment the SAME variable but it would be initialized every time I call it, what's a proper way to do it?
