PHP2 string variables seem to sporadically truncate characters.
The following string ($query) sometimes will lose portions of the where
clause.
$query = "UPDATE mytable SET
refno='$refno',title='$title',type='$type',term='$term',city='$city',state='
$state',description='$description' where userid=$userid and idno=$idno";
The where clause at the end of the $query string should look like this:
where userid=$userid and idno=$idno
Sometime it is truncated to things like:
where userid= (the rest is missing)
The $description string is about 1300 characters. The strange thing is, if I
add a few characters to the $description variable, then everything works
just fine.
Does anyone know what is going on here?
Thanks,
Brent
