I have recently installed php3 with MySQL and Apache on RedHat 6.0. I can run the ol' introductory phpinfo() command without a problem, but when I try to connect to a database, I get an error:
Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (111) in ...
Now, when I call up the status of MySQL, the unix socket in use is /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock. How can I change php to look there?
Thanks much,
Matt
