I have Apache 1.3.9 and PHP 3.0.12 compiled as a module, on Solaris 2.7 (used
gcc 2.8.1 to compile).
Selected output from phpinfo():
Apache Version: Apache/1.3.9
Apache Release: 10309100
Apache API Version: 19990320
Loaded modules: mod_php3, [...]
Perl Compatible Regular Expressions
PCRE library version: 2.05 21-Apr-1999
Whenever you try to fopen() a remote file, it segfaults. I've seen this
error reported before, but the solution has always been to upgrade to the
latest version of PHP. I have that, I think (acknowledging that I do not
have any patches past 3.0.12).
Is there a known fix for this? I do not have gdb installed (yet) on this
machine. Thanks.
