Connecting to Oracle Database

Hi Friends, I have installed Oracle-on-Linux. We use Apache 1.3.7 well compiled using --with-oracle support. Even I'm able to access the database from my windows box in Bangalore. Everything seems to be fine. But, when I tried to access Oracle using php3 scripts. I'm getting Oracle Errors & stuff. Please let me know the steps to configure Apache, Oracle or PHP. I don't understand where I have gone wrong. If anybody successful in getting access to Oracle remotely.
