Hi, When building and checking PHP 3.0.12, I alway receive 'Segmentation Fault' error messages accompanied by a core dump. My configuration of the source tree looks like #!/bin/ksh -x ORAHOME=/appl/oracle/product/8.1.5 MYSQLHOME=/usr/local APSRC=$HOME/src/network/apache/apache_1.3.9 export ORAHOME MYSQLHOME APSRC CFLAGS="$CFLAGS -I$ORAHOME/include" CXXFLAGS="$CXXFLAGS -I$ORAHOME/include" LDFLAGS="$LDFLAGS -L$ORAHOME/lib -R$ORAHOME/lib" LIBS="$LIBS -lgdbm -lmmalloc" export CFLAGS CXXFLAGS LDFLAGS LIBS cfg \ --enable-magic-quotes \ --enable-debug \ --enable-memory-limit \ --enable-safe-mode \ --enable-sysvsem \ --enable-sysvshm \ --enable-track-vars \ --enable-discard-path \ --with-config-file-path=/usr/local/etc \ --with-jpeg=/usr/local \ --with-tiff=/usr/local \ --with-zlib=/usr/local \ --with-dbase \ --with-filepro \ --with-gdbm=/usr/local \ --with-mysql=$MYSQLHOME \ --with-oracle=$ORAHOME \ --with-system-regex \ --without-pcre-regex \ --without-gd When running the tests, the output looks like cd ~/src/network/apache/contrib/modules/1.2/php-3.0.12/ gmake check test -d test || ln -s ./test test cd test && ./testall Assign a[0], a[1], a[2] elements and print result ... passed Auto Assign a[] 3 elements and print result ... passed Count() items ... passed Auto index loop ... passed NEXT loop ... passed Next() loop, Reset(), Next() loop ... passed Mix index (start 0) and auto assigning ... passed Unset() index loop ... passed Passing to a function ... passed Assigning from a function ... passed Using another array ... passed Assign Indexed, then and Auto assign ... passed Increment Array Elements ... passed Unset a single element array ... passed ksort() function ... passed asort() function ... passed Trivial "Hello World" test ... passed Simple POST Method test ... passed GET and POST Method combined ... passed Two variables in POST data ... passed Three variables in POST data ... passed Add 3 variables together and print result ... passed Multiply 3 variables and print result ... passed Divide 3 variables and print result ... passed Subtract 3 variables and print result ... passed Testing | and & operators ... passed Testing $argc and $argv handling ... passed Classes general test ... passed Classes inheritance test ... passed DBM File Creation Test ... passed DBM Insert/Fetch Test ... passed DBM Insert/Replace/Fetch Test ... passed DBM Multiple Insert/Fetch Test ... passed DBM FirstKey/NextKey Loop Test With 5 Items ... passed DBM FirstKey/NextKey with 2 deletes ... passed File type functions ... passed Strlen() function test ... passed Static variables in functions ... passed General function test ... passed General function test ... passed Testing register_shutdown_function()... passed sprintf() function ... passed Simple If condition test ... passed Simple While Loop Test ... passed Simple Switch Test ... passed Simple If/Else Test ... passed Simple If/ElseIf/Else Test ... passed Nested If/ElseIf/Else Test ... passed Function call with global and static variables ... passed Testing recursive function ... passed Testing function parameter passing ... passed Testing function parameter passing with a return value ... passed Testing nested functions ... passed Testing stack after early function return ... passed Testing eval function ... passed Testing eval function inside user-defined function ... passed Testing include ... passed Testing user-defined function in included file ... passed Testing user-defined function falling out of an If into another.. passed eval() test ... passed eval() test ... passed Switch test 1 ... passed Switch test 2 ... passed Switch test 3 ... passed Regression test ... passed Looped regression test (may take a while) ... passed Mean recursion test ... passed Testing string scanner confirmance ... passed Testing do-while loop ... passed Testing calling user-level functions from C ... passed Simple math tests ... passed RegReplace test 1 ...Segmentation Fault - core dumped FAILED RegReplace test 2 ...Segmentation Fault - core dumped FAILED ereg_replace single-quote test ...Segmentation Fault - core dumped FAILED simple ereg test ... passed Test Regular expression register support in ereg ...
