I'm travelling at the moment, so I haven't had a chance to try
PHP 3.0.12, but my suggestion would be to just update the version
of HS's regex library that you are using. The newer versions I found
on his ftp site all had lots of notes about porting fixes, and the
Alpha is of course a glutton for porting fixes! I did file a bug
against Apache as well, though I confess I haven't checked up on it
in a while. I'll do that after I get home this weekend.
