while you're at it:
PHP 4 now supports the === operator (is identical).
=== will check the type and value of the operants. sample:
$a = strpos("hallo","h"); // $a will be 0;
if ($a == false) // will be true as 0 will evaluate into false.
if ($a === false) // will be false as o is an integer and fals is boolean.
