Email not working

Hi I have setup PHP3 on Windows NT, and every aspect of the system works fine, except for the email! I have configured the SMTP=<mailserver> parameter and also the sendmail_from=<chrisp@inter.net.uk> But still I can not get it to work correctly If I do this : <? mail ("chris.priest@inter.net.uk","Test Message","Test Body") ?> It doesn't work! It will just sit there on the page for about 5 minutes with the hourglass, before it comes back with a blank page and no email has been sent. I have verfied that the mail server is visible from the NT Box on port 25 but still nothing does anyone have any ideas?
