From: Peter.Havens@Colorado.EDU Operating system: Solaris 2.6 PHP version: 3.0.12 PHP Bug Type: Compile Failure Bug description: compile error: "ld: fatal: symbol `gdImageColorResolve' is multiply defined..." I'm attempting to compile php as an apache module with the following configuration: ./configure --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --with-apache=../../apache/apache_1.3.9 --enable-track-vars --with-gd --with-ttf --with-zlib The compile time error is coming from the apache compilation after it has been configured to use the php module support. The full error is: ld: fatal: symbol `gdImageColorResolve' is multiply defined (file modules/php3/libphp3.a(gd.o) and file /usr/local/lib/libgd.a(gd.o));
