Using Netscape 4.6:
The session file does not get created unless I have Netscape configured the
following way:

edit | preferences | advanced
Cookies
x Accept all cookies
Accept only cookies.....
Disable cookies
x Warn me before accepting a cookie
_________________________________________
If I uncheck "Warn me before accepting a cookie" the session file does not
get created.
Using IE 5, the session gets created fine.
My configuration is:
Apache 1.3.9
PHP Version 4.0b3
My phpinfo() session settings are:
