PHP Bug Type: Scripting Engine problem
Bug description: Not Parse error for invalid ereg arguments.
The following line I would expect to produce a parse error since the third argument of the ereg
function is not a variable.
ereg("^(ONE|TWO)[ ]+(THREE FOUR)$","ONE FOUR",argreg);
Instead the scripting engine bombs out with no output before producing any output that should have
been before it. This suggests that the error is occuring during the parse phase.
I haven't included a backtrace since your instructions on howto do so was a missing page.
