Bug description: MySQL query call produces 'not a valid MySQL-Link resource'
MySQL query call produces 'not a valid MySQL-Link resource' when called with optional
database link. (i.e. mysql_query($query, $dbh) where mysql_query($query) works fine). No errors are
produced when calling mysql_connect and mysql_select_db. The error was produced with persistend
connections both on and off.
