Can you upgrade to the current CVS or at least to 3.0.12 ?
In 3.0.6 there is a possible problem with Informix and memory allocation if
you use BLOB columns (Byte or TEXT) with Informix versions > 7.23.
Otherwise the cobination PHP 3.06/Informix should be fine.
