PHP version: 4.0 Latest CVS (05/12/1999)
PHP Bug Type: Installation problem
Bug description: configure (1.59) --with-informix --with-zlib : fails
The latest changes to configure break the following build :
./configure --with-zlib --with-informix
because configure adds -Lphp_ifx which does not exist yet. to the
test compile libraries.
From config.log :
configure:15633: checking for gzgets in -lz
configure:15652: gcc -o conftest -O2 -mpentium -g -Wall -I/opt/informix/incl/esql
-I/home/local/include -L/home/local/lib -L/home/local/lib -L/opt/informix/lib/static
-L/home/web/php/php4/ext/informix conftest.c -lz -lifglx -lphp_ifx -ldl -lm -lgls -lgen -lifgls
-lifos -lifgen -lifasf -lifsql -lttf -lgd -lgdbm -lresolv -lm -lcrypt -lnsl -lresolv
-L/home/local/lib 1>&5
/usr/bin/ld: cannot open -lphp_ifx: No such file or directory
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
configure: failed program was:
#line 15641 "configure"
#include "confdefs.h"
/* Override any gcc2 internal prototype to avoid an error. */
/* We use char because int might match the return type of a gcc2
builtin and then its argument prototype would still apply. */
char gzgets();
int main() {
gzgets()
; return 0; }
