From: sql42@hotmail.com Operating system: Linux MAndrake 6.1 PHP version: 4.0 Beta 3 PHP Bug Type: Scripting Engine problem Bug description: Code that worked started intermittantly erroring out example code: HELLO<BR> <? if ($myvar) { echo ' VALUE="' . $myvar . '"'; } ?> <BR>WORLD output: HELLO Warning: Undefined variable: myvar in /www/htdocs/fwq/test.htm on line 3 WORLD -------- This example always errors out, some of my pages error out on a random basis (hiting reload they may work 7 out of 10 times). I did not change anything when this problem started happening, but, I played with some of the mcrypt functions for the first time right about when this started. I tried a different binary of php4b3 (without mcrypt lib) but it does the same thing.
