compiling fresh cvs

Hiya
When i get a fresh cvs and do buildconf i get this error:
buildconf: checking installation...
buildconf: autoconf version 2.13 (ok)
buildconf: automake version 1.4 (ok)
buildconf: libtool version 1.3.3 (ok)
rebuilding Makefile.in's
automake: configure.in: installing `./install-sh'
automake: configure.in: installing `./mkinstalldirs'
automake: configure.in: installing `./missing'
---> configure.in: 62: required file `./php_config.h.in' not found
rebuilding acconfig.h
then after doing configure : i get this :
make all-recursive

Making all in Zend

make[2]: *** No rule to make target `../config.status', needed by `Makefile'. Stop.

anyone know what has happend?
