OK. Tried both, apache 1.3.1 and 1.3.2, with or without any special
modules. Doesn't help. Using Solaris 2.5.1, gcc 2.8.1.
My configuration uses non-standard locations for mysql and the other
libs (only gd) using absolute paths with configure.
I patched the main.c of php3.0.4 to see what happens: The value
of php3_ini.asp_tags is set to 1. Though it does not parse the
<% ... %> tags. Strange.
