Hi all, I would like some help compiling up a PHP 3.0.14 with PDFLib 2.01 that works on Windows. What i have done so far. 1. Successfully compiled PHP3.0.14 with MSVC6 (CGI Release version), works fine. 2. Compiled php3_pdflib.dll but it didnt work (as the binary distribution version) 3. Compiled pdflib version 2.01 as a static lib file, then copied it to the win32/lib directory as libpdf.lib 4. Copied the pdflib version 2.01 pdflib.h to pdf.h in the win32/include directory 5. Unsuccessfully tried to compile php3_pdflib.dll where i get errors like; Compiling... pdf.c C:\phpbuild\php-3.0.14\functions\pdf.c(160) : error C2143: syntax error : missing ')' before '*' C:\phpbuild\php-3.0.14\functions\pdf.c(160) : error C2143: syntax error : missing '{' before '*' C:\phpbuild\php-3.0.14\functions\pdf.c(160) : error C2059: syntax error : ')' C:\phpbuild\php-3.0.14\functions\pdf.c(161) : error C2054: expected '(' to follow 'info' C:\phpbuild\php-3.0.14\functions\pdf.c(173) : error C2143: syntax error : missing ')' before So it seems to now be using the 2 version instead of .06... but im unsure of what could be wrong. To be honest i dont know C (or MSVC6) at all but have happily compiled many apps on linux, so if you could give me some direction or a source of info it would be appreciated. If it comes down to "you havent got a hope" id be happy with that to. thanks for your time, mn Mark Nold markn@alverstone.com.au Systems Consultant "Change is inevitable - except from vending machines"
