I copied the entire [Session] section from php4 dist and put it into my
production php.ini and restarted apache. maxlifetime is set to 15 minutes,
probability is set to 100. Files are still never removed from /tmp, even
after 15 minutes. I started a new browser session, called the first php app
page with session_start(), it creates the session file, and I let the
browser sit for 20 minutes. Close browser, restart and go back in again,
second session file is created, original is still there. Don't know what to
check next...thanks for your help so far.
