Could someone point me to information on adding extensions to PHP? I have been poking around in the source and looking at the (IMHO) badly written apidoc.txt, but I can't get PHP to "find" my functions. Using the mysql.c/php3_mysql.h/internal_functions.c as a guide, I can get my functions compiled in cleanly, with what looks like everything pionting in the right places, but I can't run them from within PHP. Is there a HOWTO or web page on this? The online docs don't help at all. They tell how to write the functions (which I have), but not how to get them into PHP! I'm putting together a PHP "wrapper" library of older ctree functions (for now, a rewrite in the near-future will prolly use mysql or something). I could write wrapper/CGI programs in C, but that would be timeconsuming and more pain than it is worth for something that is going to be rewritten anyway.
