You can't do this in PHP and it is not planned for the near future, although there might be some OOP improvements in the future (post PHP 4).
As you mentioned, PHP is not a real OOP language and we didn't intend it to be one. We do have some OOP functionality which helps people create packages of reusable code but we're not planning on having all of the C++ kind of functionality in PHP.
