The dev list is generally used by the developers, the bug database, stuff
like that. There are two support lists. More info at:

The date/time functions work well.

In particular, the date, time, mktime, and strftime functions
working together will produce exactly what you want. Post some code
to one of the support lists (php3 or php4beta) and you'll get some action.
