Just tested it on a stock rhl6.1 box.
./configure --enable-versioning --disable-inline --with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs
--with-xml --with-ftp --with-msql=/usr/local/Hughes --with-mysql
--with-pgsql=/usr/include/pgsql --with-zlib
Got these ./configure warnings, which I didn't get with b3...
Configuring libtool
zend-scanner.c:5728: warning: `yy_fatal_error' defined but not used
zend-scanner.c:5713: warning: `yy_top_state' defined but not used
Other than that, it installed fine.
The ./configure output was nicer, broken into components like that.
