UPLOAD with PHP and NT

Operating system: WinNT 4.0 1381 SP4
PHP version: 3.0.14
I was using a PHP generated form to Upload a file in a Linux/Apache Web
Server. When I tested the same code on a NT/IIS Web Server the PHP generated
an acess violation error?
The rights on the upload temp directory are OK.
Does anyone knows what is the problem? Or the problem is the NT?
