The following variables were set up in my environment before
compile:
INFORMIXDIR=/usr/local/apache/informix
CC=cc
MAKE=gmake
The make still fails to produce a produce valid libtool
lines. However, I am certain the information is being passed
along correctly at some point, as not all portions of the
installation fail.
