Bug description: Class variable-variable member access doesn't work the way it used to
These lines used to work in PHP3, but I recently installed PHP4.0 Beta 3 and they no longer work. I
now get the error:
Parse error: parse error in ./scripts/itemTree.inc on line XXXX
(Granted, the class documentation isn't very complete, but this all worked under PHP3 - and
there's a user-added comment doing something similar to it.)
// $which is the name of a member of the class that I'm referencing
$this->{$which}[] = new node ($path[sizeof($path)-1], $url, 0);
...
$kid = $this->{$which}[$where];
$this->{$which}[$where] = $kid;
