    what platform are u on?
linux redhat 6.1 and 6.0 regex : Bundled regex library enabled
    what regex are you using? (regex is used for parsing the
    file() url)
it has nothing to do with the file cuz i use a routine for that wich uses raw sockets

Hiya it was in php4 will all cvs and the last one still has it...
maybe you
have
to play with the url try this url: http://www.cnh.nl/homenieuws/php it works for me ( or doesn't depending on the way you look :)
    please try to create a tiny (10 lines) testcase *whithout* mysql
    or any other module and send it to me.
    regards,
i don't see mysql around here or do you mean the modules in php?
    uups i meant the other one - never mind.
    the "plop()" one runs stable (memory wise;-) for me.
    where exaclty is your problem? is it in
    "http://www.cnh.nl/homenieuws/php"  or the plop() script
    that's attached?
Hiya The problem is in the script the url is causing the problem (cuz of some weird chars or codes i think) the problem is that after running this script for a while it's slowly eating up memmory (steps of 8 kb, not much, but i use an almost the same function in an script that runs 24 hours a day and then it will end up with all the
memmory)
i just rechecked the script with the very very last cvs and it still
does it :(
