I cannot commit changes to the bugdb, so I reply by email.
Yes, it now works when not using IMAP. However statically linking a
library which is not compiled with -fPIC into a dynamic library works
well on i386 Linux platforms, but utterly fails on AXP, SPARC, PPC and
MIPS. Please make sure that only shared libraries are being used when
compiling a shared module.
