From: ramoore@axion-it.net Operating system: RedHat Linux 6.0 PHP version: 4.0 Beta 4 Patch Level 1 PHP Bug Type: Reproduceable crash Bug description: httpd crash on HUP if built with Raven SSL (EAPI) I built Apache 1.3.11 with Raven SSL module (raven_ssl-1.4.2-1.3.11-x86-linux-glibc2). Everything worked fine. I added php4.0b3, again, everything works fine. When I upgraded to php4.0b4pl1, everything compiles and installs fine. I can start the service and successfully use php (and everything else). But, as soon as I send an HUP to the httpd process, it stops and does not automatically restart. I can manuall restart the process with no problem. I moved back to php4.0b3, and everything is fine again. I've moved back and forth between the two versions and the problem is totally repeatable on my system. Here is my php4 config line: ./configure \ --with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs \ --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql \ --enable-track-vars Here is my apache config line: ./configure \ --verbose \ --with-layout=RedHat \ --target=httpd \ --disable-rule=EXPAT \ --enable-module=so \ --enable-shared=log_agent \ --enable-shared=log_referer \ --enable-shared=userdir \ --enable-shared=status \ --enable-shared=negotiation \ --enable-shared=rewrite \ --enable-shared=auth_anon \ --enable-shared=auth_db \ --enable-shared=auth_dbm \ --enable-shared=auth_digest \ --enable-shared=cern_meta \ --enable-shared=digest \ --enable-shared=example \ --enable-shared=expires \ --enable-shared=headers \ --enable-shared=asis \ --enable-shared=info \ --enable-shared=mime_magic \ --enable-shared=mmap_static \ --enable-shared=proxy \ --enable-shared=speling \ --enable-shared=setenvif \ --enable-shared=unique_id \ --enable-shared=usertrack \ --enable-shared=vhost_alias \ \ --enable-module=log_agent \ --enable-module=log_referer \ --enable-module=rewrite \ --enable-module=auth_anon \ --enable-module=auth_db \ --enable-module=auth_dbm \ --enable-module=auth_digest \ --enable-module=cern_meta \ --enable-module=digest \ --enable-module=example \ --enable-module=expires \ --enable-module=headers \ --enable-module=info \ --enable-module=mime_magic \ --enable-module=mmap_static \ --enable-module=proxy \ --enable-module=setenvif \ --enable-module=speling \ --enable-module=unique_id \ --enable-module=usertrack \ --enable-module=vhost_alias Hope this is helpful to you.
