Am I wrong to think that PHP should *never* crash on *any* sequence of
characters? If someone is "not supposed" to do something, PHP should
detect this and tell "Hey, you are not supposed to do this!" and not just
drop dead.
Anyway, this bug is still in latest CVS, so I really don't understand why
it was closed...
