Hi,
This is something which needs to be fixed......
http://blah.com/?var=BLAH&REMOTE_ADDR=etc
$HTTP_ENV_VARS [ "var" ] // BLAH
but it breaks when you put it on a server which uses
mod_php and vice versa.
Now, if you are logging user or something with
$REMOTE_ADDR, hoping that it would solve
the problem of $HTTP_ENV_VARS and $HTTP_SERVER_VARS,
then you're in for a surpise, it will return 'etc' in $REMOTE_ADDR.
Either you do something internally to allow a stable way,
or the method used to invoke the script must be detected
and arrays must be copied into a single one....
$HTTP_RESULT_VARS =
invoked_through_cgi ? $HTTP_ENV_VARS : $HTTP_SERVER_VARS;
Enjoy!
Faisal
