File upload with windows-client

Hi all, I have a little problem with the uploading file feature. The temp. file was not been created during the execution of the php-script. The variable $userfile (wich should be defined) points to the local file on the client(win95,IE5). The server is a Linux box with apache 1.3.6 an full php support. The same script works with works linux client and netscape browser . So, what can I do, that the script works with IE browser ? Can anybody help ?
