Operating system: UNIX
PHP version: 3.0.4
PHP Bug Type: Misbehaving function
Bug description: IE4 won't accept cookies with expiration information
I discovered that IE4 will not accept cookies that have expiration information. Maybe, I use the
wrong format for IE4 to accept it, but the PHP3.0.4 parses it anyway. Likewise, the example in the
current manual (p. 22-23) does not work with IE4. Needless to say, there are no problems with NC4.x.
Is there a work-around such that the expiration data can be sent with cookies to IE4 ?
