it doesn't automatically detect them, but when I do --with-imap=/usr/local
it finds them but breaks on gd while compiling php4, whether I enable gd or
not. I believe this is unique to freebsd, because nobody in the freebsd
help mailing lists and irc channels has gotten php4 to work with imap on
freebsd. What can I do to help track this down?
