Operating system: Redhat 6.1
PHP version: 4.0 Latest CVS (06/05/2000)
PHP Bug Type: Scripting Engine problem
Bug description: Object initialization doesn't work
<? $obj->test="test";
if (!$obj->test) echo "error";
echo $obj->test; ?>
Results in "error" which isn't correct. This works perfect in PHP 4 Beta 3. This bug
appears in Beta 4 , RC1 and the latest RC2 .
In PHP3 it prints out a warning message. To do nothing is horrible because in large PHP projects it
is very hard to debug such programs especially if large code segments depends on the PHP 4 Beta 3
behaviour!
