Put this into conftest.c char dlopen(); int main() { dlopen(); return 0; } Then search for dlopen occurences in config.log. The first one will be the dlopen in -ldl check: configure:4383: checking for dlopen in -ldl configure:4402: gcc -o conftest -g -O2 -L/opt/NUlibpng-1.0.3 -L/opt/NUzlib-1.1.3 conftest.c -ldl -lcrypt -lnsl -lsocket 1>&5 Compile conftest.c with exactly the same parameters from your config.log. Try running the program. Does it segfault? Does it exit with status 0? Repeat procedure for the plain dlopen check. - Sascha
