There'll no longer be separate mailing lists for PHP 3 and 4. - In their place, X new, topic-based mailing lists will be opened: php-install--- Andi Gutmans <andi@zend.com> http://www.zend.com/PHP installation and configuration issues including more generalpurpose web server configuration issues such as Apache's httpd.conf php-dbFocusing on database connectivityphp-migrationFor people migrating from PHP 3 to PHP 4php-windowsWindows users' mailing list discussing Windows specific topics, including ISAPI php-cvsAll CVS commit messages (does not yet exists, will be created soon)php-docPHP Documentation group discussions (already existed, will berenamed from phpdoc@ soon for consistency) php-devPHP Development group discussions (already existed)php-announcePHP related announcements (moderated, already existed)php-generalGeneral PHP forum for topics not covered by the previous forumsAll of the mailing lists will be served by the lists.php.net server (e.g. php-install@lists.php.net). As I mentioned, the old mailing lists will be phased out quickly and be discontinued within a couple of weeks. There'll be NO auto-subscription to any of the new mailing lists! Make sure you subscribe to all of the relevant mailing lists as soon as you can.
