Hello everyone,
I've updated a few modules to be compilable under both 3.0 and 3.1. As
it stands currently, they may be maintained under the 3.0 tree, and
simply copied later into the 3.1 tree and (should) still work.
These modules include:
calendar
dbm
ldap
gd
mssql
mysql
nsmail
oracle73
odbc
zlib
An easy way to tell is that you will see the define IS_EXT_MODULE, and
likely ifdefs for PHP_31 in the code for the module. For those of you
who are supporting various modules, you may want to take a peak at a
couple of these modules to see how some of this stuff is being handled.
It's very simple, the only thing with major change is the handline of
thread safety under windows, which is a non-issue in 3.0
