some bug reports, especially in "script engine problems"
and "misbehaving funciton" would have a better fit in
this new category if it did exist
some of them won't be solved but will just be, yes,
incompatibilities forever, so this would give some sort
of list of intended and unintended things different
in php4
and it would possibly reduce the bug count if these
were treated more like feature requests instead of
summing up in the total bug count
after all an incompatibility ain't a bug in the new
version for itself
