Same errors as above except I'm using a different configure string: ./configure --with-apxs --with-mysql --with-gd --with-png --enable-track-varss Full Bug description available at: http://bugs.php.net/version4/?id=4438
you need a patch to for ltconfig and and ltmain.sh to fix the inter-library dependency bug in libtool. i sent this to the list a few days ago. but i think the patch i sent in was for ltconfig.in which isn't part of the php4rc2 dist. but it was in the libtool 1.3.4 dist. if you need the diff or for ltconfig etc.. let me know i'll send it to the list. didn't want to waste the bandwidth. as for the "apxs:Error: file libs/libphp4.so.0.0 is not a DSO" you'll need to edit "configure" and "configure.in" and replace the lines: SAPI_SHARED=libs/libphp4.s* with SAPI_SHARED=libs/libphp4.so after you get thru all this, and it compiles ok, it will core dump on you. atleast for me so far. i'm on netbsd/alpha 1.4y -current elf system.
