From: zapzap@zwf.net Operating system: Linux RH 6.1 PHP version: 4.0 Release Candidate 2 PHP Bug Type: MySQL related Bug description: mysql_db_query Bug or Not ? hi i try this simple code : <?php mysql_connect($host,$user,$password); $result = mysql_db_query("database","select * from table"); while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)) { echo $row["username"]; echo $row["homedir"]; } mysql_free_result($result); ?> of course i replace $host, $user, $password, database and table by the appropriate value i receive this error : Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /data/Html/Outils/test.php on line 4 Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /data/Html/Outils/test.php on line 8 I run Apache 1.3.12 + php 4.0RC2 well : 1 - i try "grep -i mysql php-4.0RC2/FUNCTION_LIST.txt" and cannot find any trace of the function mysql_db_query Miss or Not ? 2 - i try the same test code on RC1 and everything work fine BUg or missconfiguration ?
