This report pertains to php-4 RC1, RC2, and the final release I have two boxes running: Apache/1.3.12 (Unix) PHP/4.0.0 FrontPage/4.0.4.3 on RedHat Linux 6.0 and 6.1 When I run the following: ./configure --quiet --with-apxs=/sbin/apxs --with-config-file-path=/etc --di sable-debug --enable-versioning --enable-track-vars --with-mysql --with-gd - -with-jpeg-dir I get ./configure: yes: No such file or directory and no reference to any part of the configure script, so I remove several options, and I figure out that in the end if I remove the --with-gd option it goes thru fine without the error. If I try to compile after I get this error it won't compile either, with the following error. /root/php-4.0.0/libtool: yes/lib: No such file or directory libtool: link: warning: cannot determine absolute directory name of `yes/lib' libtool: link: passing it literally to the linker, although it might fail So, I am at a loss. I have gd-1.8.2 and used the patdh_gd.sh so that I could build GD as shared... I would really like to use GD, but it doesn't seem to agree with me. I am not 100% sure that this is a php4 bug, but php-3.0.16 doesn't show the errors when I try to compile it "--with-gd" -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Theodore Baschak - Gecko Internet Services http://www.gecko-internet.com -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
