From: denon@epoints.com.my Operating system: Red Hat Linux 6.1 PHP version: 4.0 Release Candidate 2 PHP Bug Type: ODBC related Bug description: IBM Db2 functions slow and leaking memory i have compiled php(all versions including cvs) with --with-ibm-db2 option and with apache. every access on the page would steadily increase the memory usage of httpd and it wouldn't release it. I have even tried with unixodbc..but the same problem occurs... i have tried lots of options including compiling with db2 support alone and this problem is definitely reproduceble in my machine.. it has been happening in last few versions of php3 and php4..any ideas? the script is asa below <? $conn=odbc_pconnect($db2,$user,$password); $stmt2="select login from salesperson"; $product = odbc_exec($conn,$stmt2); odbc_result_all($product); odbc_free_result($product); odbc_close($db); ?>
