WebDAV

What are the plans for integrating WebDAV into PHP? By this I mean: How is it to be integrated? As far as I can gather the intended implementation will require mod_dav, but how is mod_dav to be involved? Has anyone had much of a stab at it? I am currently using mod_dav but would love to be able to layer its functionality with the control that php offers. I am learning about the PHP/Zend API as fast as I can, perhaps with a view to tinkering with getting WebDAV support into PHP. If I turn out decent code, I'll offer it up to be rolled into the CVS, otherwise I'll just have had fun learning about the innards of PHP and Zend. Anyway, if anyone has any details... thanks, tom
