Operating system: SunOS 5.8
PHP version: 4.0.0 Release
PHP Bug Type: Compile Failure
Bug description: PHP won't compile with any options, even modifying the makefiles
i configure php this way:
./configure --enable-track-vars --with-apache=../apache_1.3.12
--with-oci8=/u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.5 --enable-trans-sid --with-ftp
There are lots of not found headers, then the compilation stops.
If i modify the makefiles the correct them so that they find the missing headers (that are on the
system since i compiled RC1 very easily) the compilation lasts a little longer the finally dies on
some fatal error.
Sorry if i'm not very precise, i'm actually not behind my sun machine.
