Once again, I'm trying to build PHP 4 as a DSO (or even statically, if
that's possible) on AIX 4.3.3, but so far I'm not having much luck. (See bug
report 6430 at http://bugs.php.net/bugs.php?id=4630 if you want the
gory
details.) From what I've heard, it sounds like many other people are having
problems with PHP on AIX as well.
Since nobody seems to know what's wrong, I'd like to determine what the
problem is and hopefully get a fix submitted back to the development group.
However, I need some more information first.
If you're running AIX and you've attempted to compile PHP 4 (successfully or
not), please reply with the following information:
- exact PHP version (4.0.0 Release? RC1?)
- compiler and version
- compiler options
- configure options
- web server and version
- AIX version
- results-- did it work? what errors did you get?
Thanks in advance for your help!
- Dave
