Bug description: libtool and shared libs
I have a problem where the libtool configuration part claims that my ld don't support shared
libs (even though php3 would compile just fine).
A make works fine except no .so file have been made so it can't get installed.
And that makes 'make installe' fail as noted in Bug id #4764.
