hello! i have been tinkering with trying to integrate php4 and java
servlets. as you may know, it is only currently tested and known to work
on the tomcat servlet engine. nonetheless, i would rather use it with
resin (www.caucho.com), and i have gotten it configured to the point where
it is passing off -- via a <servlet-mapping> -- .php requests to
net.php.servlet. however, i then run into an error in net.php.servlet --
and since the README
http://cvs.php.net/viewcvs.cgi/php4/sapi/servlet/README?rev=1.4&content-type=text/vnd.viewcvs-markup
solicits bug reports for trying to use php4 under different engines, i
thought i'd submit one.. 8) here is the error i'm getting:
javax.servlet.ServletException: bailout
at net.php.servlet.send(Native Method)
at net.php.servlet.service(servlet.java:158)
at javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:840)

at com.caucho.server.TcpConnection.run(TcpConnection.java:145)

this appears to trace down to servlet.c
http://cvs.php.net/viewcvs.cgi/php4/sapi/servlet/servlet.c?rev=1.30&content-type=text/vnd.viewcvs-markup
#ifdef ZTS
if (setjmp(EG(bailout))!=0) {
ThrowServletException(jenv,"bailout");
return;
}
#endif
although i don't know from where the longjmp() occurs that makes the
setjmp() return the non-zero value... anybody have any ideas how to fix
this, by chance?
i would be glad to send you more configuration information, if you'd
like. i am running debian linux, glibc 2.1.3, blackdown jdk 1.2.2 RC 4,
apache 1.3.12, resin 1.1.2, and php 4.0.0. thanks a lot for any
suggestions!
