Bug Type: Misbehaving function
Description: trim does not trim \v and \0
Well in that case it is either me, who put this bug in the wrong category
(maybe rather a documentation problem) or you haven't read the docs
(http://bugs.php.net/manual/function.trim.php)
It says: The whitespace characters it currently strips are: "\n", "\r",
"\t", "\v", "\0", and a plain space.
Any way there has to be a function that strips the NULL from a string,
because if you do an addslashes() on a string NULL becomes \0!!
